Under Pressure

Under Pressure, a report produced by the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives (CCPA) examines family earnings and tuition fees over the last two decades and shows how the cost of attending university is further out of reach today than it was 20 years ago, especially for low- and middle-income families. The study presents how stagnant family incomes, increasing household debt and rising tuition fees have forced Ontario families to make difficult choices about what to prioritize.

The report was commissioned by the Ontario University Coalition, which comprises of organizations representing students, faculty and academic staff, including the Canadian Federation of Students-Ontario.
